Foreigner Cocktail
Ingredients:
1½ oz. pisco
1 oz. Seville orange juice (bitter orange juice or regular orange juice with ¼ oz. of lime juice)
¼ oz. Amaro Montenegro
¼ oz. honey syrup (2:1)*
3 dashes orange flower water
Tools: shaker, strainer, cocktail glass.
Shake the ingredients with ice to chill, then strain into a chilled glass.
*Honey syrup: Add 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 cup water to a small saucepan over medium heat**. (You can experiment and decide how much of a honey flavor you want in your syrup. The more honey you use, the thicker the syrup and stronger in flavor it will be.) Stir until blended. Strain into a jar and seal tightly with a lid. Do not use after 1 month in the refrigerator.
**Some of the health benefits of honey might be lost after exposing honey to the medium heat or higher.
ENJOY!
